Rate limits are enforced per API key to ensure that no one’s abusing our services while keeping it fair for all the other users. By default, they’re generous enough that you’d not need to care about it. Default rate limit is set at 100 requests / minute (sliding window rate limiting). Rate limits for specific APIs will be mentioned when not default. When a 429 (Rate Limit Exceeded) HTTP response is returned, it will include a header Retry-After that specifies how many seconds until you can make another request. Do note that it only returns the time until at least 1 request will be allowed to pass the rate limiter and does not indicate the full reset time.
